About

My life is a blend of cultures and creativity. With a mix of Mom's Southern roots and Dad's Lebanese heritage, I grew up enjoying buttered biscuits in the morning and warm pita bread at night. Another thing we did at the table was table reads. I cast my family in roles for our little films, like our most notable hit, “The Babysitter from Hell”.

After graduating high school in 2009, I attended the Art Institute in Nashville, TN, where I earned a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking. In 2012, I was accepted into the International Cinematographers Guild, IA 600, as a camera assistant and spent two exciting seasons working on the TV show "Nashville" before moving to Los Angeles to advance my filmmaking career.

As a camera assistant, I've contributed to major productions like 20th Century Fox’s “Stoker,” Hulu’s “Quiz Lady,” and A24’s “Hereditary.” As the director of photography on the award-winning feature “Anchorage,” I had the pleasure of seeing our film celebrated at 17 festivals, winning 11 awards and receiving 10 nominations. My cinematography received high praise from major news outlets, including The Guardian and The Hollywood Reporter.

Over the past couple of years, I have directed music videos that received attention from Billboard and Forbes. In June 2024, I fulfilled one of my passionate goals by writing and directing my first experimental short film, "In The Background".

With a background in the film industry, my photography work is heavily influenced by visual effects techniques, using plates and models as a foundation to craft photographs that defy reality.
